Norton Military Rear #42-2

This Rear 2-piece motorcycle mudguard is made to the specifications of the Norton military models from the 1930's and 1940's. Notably the removable tail piece was not ribbed although the main part of the guard was.  The finished guard is 146mm wide x 61mm deep and it has a tricky rolled 2 piece step down join.  The tail is duck-billed and has a pressed and rolled end..  The pressing in the nose end is to clear the chainguard..
